additional

new posters below:

changes

This week i worked on tweaking the posters, adding a black background to all of them creating a more dynamic composition and playing and varying with the scale of the people from each poster. Next week I am looking to tile the posters and see if the scale of the text needs to be adjusted with the actual size of the poster, 17 x 22. I am also looking to create a few more images for posters and this week I will see which ones are the most successful to display.

poster series

this week, was spent creating more posters as a part of my series and making them more unified as a series.

Yesterday, Bonnie and Emily, from Number 17 reviewed my progress. Overall they liked the images, but I am not so sure that they are convinced that they are for teens. I'm not so sure what I can do to change it. They also said the logo was to hard to read and not convincing for the organization--I'm looking to change that next week. This weekend, I worked on creating a new look for the logo. I worked on incorporating the exclamation point with the negative space in the letter "p". Bonnie and Emily told me my posters read like I was shouting the word batter, sign, meet, etc and up was soft, and didnt match together. These are my first ideas, do you think these would appear to be more youthful than before?

posters

over the past weeks I continued to work with the name UP and incorporate it with phrases. I'm working with a silhouette of baseball and softball images targeting the kids. I am also thinking of creating info graphics for the adults. (12 hours)

Next week, I am working on
-refining the posters and figuring what posters need sayings
-figuring out what additional info should be on the poster
-what posters will be at the school and what posters will be in the neighborhood
-creating information graphics
